Showers and thunderstorms hit and miss across the western Big Country Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. A strong cold front will move through the western Big Country counties in the early morning hours Wednesday, roughly 3am to sunrise. Behind the front, much cooler temperatures as western counties start the day Wednesday in the mid to upper 40's. High temperatures in the afternoon around 60 with a gradual decrease in clouds during the afternoon. Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, we need to brace for temperatures near or just above freezing. King, Kent and Stonewall counties have been placed under a Freeze Watch for early Thursday morning.
