Cold Arctic air invades the western Big Country Wednesday night and light snow or sleet mix is possible from late Thursday afternoon through early Friday morning. Areas south of I-20 are favored to receive wintry precipitation but amounts should be light. There will be gradual clearing from west to east on Friday. Dry weather is on tap this weekend into the middle of next week. Temperatures stay in the upper 20's to low 30's much of the day Thursday, the upper teens Thursday night, near 40 on Friday and back to the 60's this weekend.
