A weak cold front will get to about I-20 and stall out Thursday, having little affect on our weather.
Instead of high temperatures around 80 as we had on Wednesday, highs on Thursday are forecast to be in the middle 70's as a front eases into the area. The front won't bring rain, hardly any clouds and may be felt the most Thursday night as temperatures drop again into the upper 40's. Expect partly cloudy skies on Friday with a high near 73 and then our next chance for rain in the western Big Country is just a slight chance Friday night and Saturday. The western counties have only a 20 percent rain chance, the eastern area is favored most for rain Saturday. The system moves south out of the area by Sunday. Middle 70's for highs this weekend.
