Cold front is east of the Big Country and dry air is funneling in from the west. We’ll see mostly sunny skies today, gusty winds, and highs in the mid 70’s. Winds will be up there, sustained anywhere between 10 to 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 25 or 30. Combine clear skies and light winds, we’re in for a cold start on Friday. Lows will be in the mid 40’s throughout the Big Country and near 40 in the Heartland. High pressure sticks around tomorrow, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures warming into the mid 70’s. Saturday will be a little bit cooler with highs near 70 degrees. Ridge breaks down Sunday afternoon opening the door for our next rainmaker early next week.
