Cold air is settling into the Big Country with highs today only in the upper 50’s/low 60’s. It’s the wind that will make it feel rather chilly, with gusts up to 25 or 30 miles per hour. Skies will clear from the west to the east today with full sunshine by 3pm. Lows tonight will cool quickly with temperatures in the 30’s by Thursday morning. A Freeze Watch is in place for Kent, Stonewall, and King counties. Frost is also possible in low-lying areas. Highs on Thursday will be in the mid 60’s with light winds. Southerly flow returns Thursday night, allowing for more cloud cover on Friday. Football games will stay dry. Weekend looks great, just a little bit breezy.
