After winning game two on Friday night to avoid elimination, Clyde jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the early innings of game three.
Hawley on the other hand quickly responded and was able to quickly rally to take a 3-2 lead in the bottom half of the fourth.
Lady Bearcats head coach Amber Riddle says her team's confidence in themselves that allowed them to battle back.
"I just instill in my girls to remain calm and confident in the playoffs and never give up. Even if a team can be up 10-0 on you; you can still come back and win if you don't give up and stay confident," said head coach Amber Riddle.
"It's crazy that we had lost that Friday. It was just a huge boost knowing that because we were ready to play on Saturday. We knew that we were going to take that one," said Maci Brewer.
Now the Lady Bearcats have to quickly switch their focus to Lamesa and the regional semifinals on this weekend. At the same time staying focused on the here and now, not what may waiting beyond this weekend.
"It's not hard to keep these girls focused. They know the end results where they want to be. They want a state title. Each day they come out and work hard. They're hungry for it., they're thirsty, they're ready for it," said Riddle.
"It usually doesn't hit me that we're having a playoff game until Friday morning. It's kind of like 'I'm having a playoff game and it's time to get real.' Every day you have to work hard in practice and just keep working on the little things and it will all come together in the bigger picture," said Amanda Verette.
The Lady Bearcats will take on Lamesa starting on Friday night in Snyder with game one at 6 p.m.
