Lady Cougars Fall to Permian

The Permian Lady Panthers denied Cooper's bid to win their second straight district match-up on Friday night.
The Permian Lady Panthers denied Cooper's bid to win their second straight district match-up on Friday night.

A slow start to the night allowed Permian to jump out to a ten point advantage at halftime. They would add to that once again in the third quarter.

A basket by Destany Farris on a give-and-go would get the Lady Coogs two point's closer. Unfortunately for Cooper, the Lady Panthers would quickly respond with a transition jumper by Te'Ana Washington to put Permian up by 19.

They would cruise from there to a 61-44 victory and deny Cooper their third district win of the season.
