Multiple Wrecks Reported on I-20

Officials are urging drivers to use caution as collisions in Callahan and Eastland counties bring holiday traffic to a standstill
Holiday traffic is being brought to a standstill Wednesday afternoon, as a series of multi-vehicle wrecks mars I-20 travel in Callahan and Eastland counties.

Law enforcement officials worked three separate wrecks in and around Clyde, as eastbound traffic was backed up all the way to the city limits of Abilene. No injuries were reported in the collisions.

Around 4 p.m., emergency responders in Eastland County went to the scene of a collision on eastbound I-20 in Ranger that involved at least four vehicles. At least one person was injured in that wreck.

With the highways packed with holiday travelers, authorities are asking drivers to please slow down.
