2007. The last time the Munday Moguls brought back a state title. It wasn't that long ago, but its a feeling no one on this football team has experienced, but come Thursday under the lights of Cowboys Stadium, they finally hope they will.

"They are a very confident group, I can tell you that much," says Defensive Coach Ronny Lowrance, "It's pretty much whatever we need to get done that's their focus that week and so far they've accomplished it. They've been, especially the last few weeks, very coachable and doing things exactly the way we ask them to do it."

When asked about talking to players from the 2007 State Championship team, current players said,

"I'm friends with a lot of them, and we've talked a few times about living in their shoes and doing what they did and winning a state championship. It would mean a lot ever since Carrie Bandsek died this year, it would just bring this town a lot of joy." Garrett Weaver

"They just shared with us how great it felt and what it means to bring home another one, and they really just came to us and gave us words of wisdom." adds Jose Gonzalez.

"It's a great field, we've seen it on TV and everything, and we cant believe we are going to play there." says L.J. Collier.

"Growing up, seeing the Cowboys play there. Just being able to go there and play where they play, dress where they dress and hopefully to win."

This season, all the hard work and dedication comes down the Thursday at 4pm. Afterwards the Munday Moguls are hoping they can add 2011 to this sign.
