The Clyde Bulldogs nearly doubled up the Bangs Dragons in their season opener on Friday night.
The Clyde Bulldogs nearly doubled up the Bangs Dragons in their season opener on Friday night.

Early in the second quarter, with the score tied at 7, Clyde's Ty Spears connected to Mason Latham from 15 yards out, to put the bulldogs up 14-7 over the dragons.

Later in the second, Christian Eubanks added to the Clyde lead with a ten-yard touchdown run to make it 21-7.

The Bangs Dragons would put up seven more points going into the half as J.T. Newton connects to Jake Gravell, but it wouldn't be enough to overcome the Bulldogs lead as Clyde cruised to a 61-33 victory.
