Officials have identified the victim of a deadly wreck that occurred on FM 126 in Jones County just 3 miles north of FM 605 early Monday morning.

Officials have identified the victim of a deadly wreck that occurred on FM 126 in Jones County just 3 miles north of FM 605 early Monday morning.

The driver has been identified as 30-year-old Waylon Eugene Davis.

Waylon was traveling north along FM 126 when he veered right, losing control, and the vehicle flipped several times before coming to a stop.

Waylon was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of thew accident is still under investigation.

A man is dead after a one vehicle accident in Jones County.

The wreck happened early Monday morning on FM 126 on a section named "Double Hill."

The driver, who was headed north, lost control of the pickup at the bottom of the first hill, running off the road and coming to a rest near the second hill.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. We will have more details on the cause of the accident as they become available

The driver's name has not been released pending notification of the family.
