The Roscoe Plowboys not only picked up their first win of the season Friday night, they also brought home the first win of the Jake Freeman era.
The Roscoe Plowboys not only picked up their first win of the season Friday night, they also brought home the first win of the Jake Freeman era.

It wasn't without some excitement in the early goings. After driving all the way down the field, the Plowboys fumbled the ball at the goal line. Then after recovering in the endzone, Roscoe took a 7-0 lead over Irion County in the first quarter.

The Hornets would respond though with a touchdown pass from Vicente Gomez to Donte Harris for Irion County's first score of the night. A missed extra point though would keep Roscoe in front.

The Plowboys would march right back down the field and find the endzone on a Cutter Divila to Vincent Pantoja touchdown pass.

Roscoe would go on from there to pick up the 45-26 victory, and give former Plowboy player Jake Freeman his first win as Roscoe's head coach.
