Popular family entertainment center, 'PrimeTime', announced earlier this week that it has plans for expansion.
Beginning in January, the company will begin building on 'PrimeTime Sports', an indoor state-of-the-art sports facility.
It will be 35,000 square feet and will be located next door to the existing 'PrimeTime' building.
Promotions manager, Wey Scoggin says there is no other facility like 'PrimeTime Sports' in southeast Abilene.
He says the owners saw a desire for an indoor play zone, and wanted to meet that desire.
The year-round facility will include three main attractions: a synthetic turf field about half the size of a football field, a trampoline park and a free play jumping area.
There will be no age limit for who can enjoy 'PrimeTime Sports'.
Scoggin ensures there will be something for everyone in the entire family to love.
'PrimeTime Sports' will also offer recreational and competitive sports leagues and individual play. Teams will range from children as young as six years old to adults who have the energy to compete. Sign up for the sports leagues will begin in February, just one month after the groundbreaking on the facility.
'PrimeTime Sports' is expected to be complete by the beginning of next summer.
The facility's grand opening is tentatively set for May 1.
