The Roby Lions picked up their first win of the season Friday night on the road in Bronte.

Roby would strike first, but not with their offense. With Bronte going in for a what looked like an early score, the Roby defense forced a fumble, and Lorenzo Ramirez returned it for a touchdown. That gave the Lions an early 6-0 lead.

A short time later the Lions would strike again. This time it would be the offense, and Jared Floyd punching it in for a touchdown. After a two-point conversion the Lions held a 14-0 lead.

They would cruise from there to knock off Bronte by the count of 46-26 to earn their first win of the season.
