Scientists say a micro-chip could save the lives of professional athletes at risk of sudden death from heart failure.<br><br>
Designed by researchers at Lisbon technical university, the chip is expected to go on sale this fall.
Its creators say the chip can detect d-n-a mutations that can cause hard-to-spot heart diseases.
Already developers have received thousands of orders from soccer organizations world-wide.
