The search for the missing Rising Star woman continues a week after she was last seen. Amber Christensen-Lowery was last seen Tuesday, July 23rd, around 9:45 PM. She was reported missing the next afternoon.

The only known clue in Amber's disappearance is the abandoned car that was discovered Saturday outside of a closed laundromat. The car has searchers hopeful, but locals concerned.

One local man who lives two blocks away says he saw the car there for a few days. He said it was around Wednesday or Thursday that he remembers seeing it for the first time. But he and other locals didn't think much about it, thinking the abandoned car was just a car that broke down.

Locals say it has them concerned, because incidents like Amber's disappearance shouldn't happen in small towns like Rising Star.
