The first key is to protect quarterback Tony Romo, who has been sacked eight times in the past four game. To make things worse, Romo has been sacked 17 times during that span. The Cowboys have to give him more time so he can go through his progressions and get the pass out his wide receivers.
The second key is to limit Palestine, Texas native Adrian Peterson. If the all-pro running back is able to put together another "all day performances," the Cowboys will be in big trouble. That will result in the offense having to score at least 30 plus points against the Vikings to be able to win the game.
The third key is some big plays from special teams. With all the injuries the Cowboys have on defense and the inconsistent play of the offense, the Cowboys need something special from their special teams. Especially when you have the NFL's third ranked punt returner, and second ranked kick-off return man in Dwayne Harris on the roster.
They'll also need something special from kicker Dan Bailey, who has made 14 of his 16 field goal attempts this season
