A 25-year-old man was shot and killed in Snyder early Tuesday morning.
Nearly 12 hours after it happened, Police continue to investigate the homicide in the 200 block of 36th St, just blocks away from the law enforcement center.
While police are not releasing any more details at this point, neighbors are coming up with their own theories.
"I thought to myself a long time ago, something ain't right about that house and there wasn't something right about that house," said a neighbor who wanted to remain unidentified on Tuesday morning.
John Farquhar has lived across the street from the home surrounded by crime-scene tape for 57 years and said the young couple with small three children moved into in just the past year.
"I just hate that it happened, the three kids is what bothers me," Farquhar said. "The couple fought all the time, they were out there fighting all hours of the day and night.
Police said a 25-year-old man was shot and killed, but have yet not said who pulled the trigger.
"If you want the honest truth, I think it's a drug deal gone bad," Farquhar said.
The neighbor who wanted to remain anonymous also shared those sentiments.
"You sit out here, you see stuff, people going in and out, and quite naturally, if you've got a head on your shoulders, you know something's going on."
Snyder Police have not released the names of the victim or potential shooters as of Wednesday evening.
