Snyder Tigers Ready for District Play

Starting out 1-4 can be rough on a lot of football teams, but the Snyder Tigers say it was just the sort of push they need as they begin their pursuit of a district title.

Senior Jonathan Garcia said "I feel pretty confident that we can take this district, and we can take a district championship, and we can come out. I believe that we can do it because like I said our past few games we've been learning from our last mistakes and we plan on playing all four quarters this time."

Senior D'vincent Allison said "I think we can beat everybody in our district. We're good enough. We got the talent and put in the hard work."

Senior Hunter Ward said "We just got to play our hearts out and keep going. I really feel like we should win it all and just play our hearts out.

Head coach Aubrey Sims said "We're very confident of where we're at. I think we played a pretty tough non-district schedule, and we were very competitive in all of those games, so we feel like we've got just as good of a chance as anybody."

The Tigers are coming off of a bye last week, and this week they begin district play at home against Sweetwater.
