Abilene, Texas will host the Texas Travel Industry Association (TTIA) regional workshop on October 16 at the Hilton Garden Inn. The workshop will be an intense day with industry experts offering stimulating and information-packed presentations, including the latest information and innovative tools and strategies to help Texas communities build and sustain local tourism success.

The workshop will cover such topics as: Return on Investment, Social Media, Marketing/Advertising, Identifying & Working with Stakeholders, Organizational Skills and more.

As a membership organization, TTIA represents the public and private interests in the travel industry throughout the State of Texas. Working closely with the travel related state agencies, TTIA’s members benefit greatly through education, networking, research and legislation.

Workshops, offered regionally, provide educational content that is vital to continued growth in the region area. It is also a time for state agencies to provide valuable information, such as funding, marketing and research opportunities. “Travel Matters” to rural Texas! The workshop will provide information that benefits seasoned industry veterans and industry newcomers, alike. Attendees will leave with new ideas and practical tools.
