Unique penny jewelry inspired by grandma

Amanda Mendez creates these unique pieces from scratch
Amanda Mendez says her grandmother is the inspiration for her jewelry creations which has now turned into a business. It's called, "Granny's Pennies

She has been making the jewelry for a few years now and also credits her son, who has downs syndrome for some of the unique designs as well.

Mendez brought an array of pieces, from necklaces, to cup holders, all made by her. "My inspirations come from all over the place, my son and my grandmother are just a few of them," Mendez says.
