Original Story

Westbound I-20 at mile marker 361 is closed due to a jackknifed truck in the Ranger Hill area. All traffic should avoid traveling to this area at this time. Crews are working to clear the incident, but it could take several hours.

Travel throughout the area is strongly discouraged, with most counties throughout TxDOT's Abilene and Brownwood Districts reporting icy roads and adverse driving conditions. Crews have worked all night to make roads passable, but continued precipitation and freezing temperatures are keeping roadways slick.
