UPDATE: Robbery At Gas Station Leaves Woman In The Hospital, Four Arrested

ABILENE, TX-A robbery at a south Abilene gas station leaves one woman in the hospital.
Police charged Armando Carmona, 20, for the robbery a the Allsup's on South 1st. He was arrested after the incident walking dow South 3rd and Amarillo around 8:30 p.m. Carmona is held at the Taylor County Jail with bond set at $15,000.

The other three that were also arrested were Rosemary Carmona, Julio Carmona, and Martin Trujillo. All three were charged with public intoxication and were released Saturday with a $100 bond.

ABILENE, TX-A robbery at a south Abilene gas station leaves one woman in the hospital.

Police responded to an attempted robbery call at the Allsup's on South 1st Friday night. It was a little after 8 p.m. when a taxi cab driver pulled up to the gas station carrying six passengers. The cab driver picked them up from the bar, and they requested to buy beer on the way back home.

According to reports, they went inside and caused a scene. Police say one of them stole beer, while another punched the female clerk in the face. One of them is also accused of stealing the cab driver's cell phone.

Witnesses identified the suspects to the police and five of the six passengers were found minutes later walking down the street with the stolen beer.

One was charged with robbery and three others for public intoxication. Emergency responders took the clerk to the hospital.
