UPDATE

The two men that started a shed fire in central Abilene have been identified. Bobby Rogers and Michael Toon are currently at the Taylor County Jail on $7,500 bonds.

ORIGINAL STORY

Two men were arrested and charged with arson, after police say they set a fire inside a small shed in the 800 block of Butternut Street Friday afternoon.

The Abilene Fire Department arrived to find the shed on fire around 4:30 p.m. At the same time, Abilene Police officers were tracking down two suspects that witnesses saw running from the shed after the fire started. The two were apprehended and charged with Reckless Arson. Police say the men apparently lived in the shed.

The fire was brought under control within half an hour. No one was hurt.
