There may not be a vaccine against the virus for humans, but there is for another animal that is just as susceptible.

Several cities around the Big Country have begun spraying public and residential areas to prevent mosquitoes carrying the West Nile Virus from spreading.
However, along with humans, there's another animal that is just as susceptible to the virus, horses.
Veterinarians suggest owners vaccinate horses immediately.
The vaccine typically costs up to $30 and can last up to a year.
They also urge everyone to clear out any standing water and to keep their horses indoors as much as possible.
