Would Guns On Campus Make A Difference?

A new bill allowing students with concealed handgun permits to take them on campus reassures some, but doesn't convince others.
The recent school campus shootings, including one in Santa Monica CA, has once again brought up the conversation as to whether allowing guns on campus would help in that kind of situation.

The Texas Senate recently passed Bill 1907, allowing students with a concealed handgun license to keep their guns on campus, so long as they are left inside their cars.

Police officers at Abilene Christian University say although they're not against the bill, they're unsure whether it would actually help in the case of an active shooter since they most likely wouldn't have time to return to their cars.

The bill was passed in May and sent to Gov Rick Perry to sign.
