Wylie and Coleman Advance to State 7-On-7 Tournament

Clyde getting ready to take on Coleman in pool play. It would be the Bluecats that would strike-first though with a touchdown to give them a 7-0 lead.
The Bulldogs would answer with a touchdown of their own, but wouldn't convert on the extra point. Coleman would go on to win it 26-24.

Up next - Snyder taking on Levelland, and it's the Lobos that find the endzone first after halftime.
The Tigers would answer though with a long touchdown. that would give Snyder a brief lead, but Levelland would pull out a 20-19 victory.

Another close one followed on the grass in Snyder. Eastland taking on Ballinger and the Mavericks punch it in for the first touchdown of the game. The Eastland defense was clicking early but the Bearcats would get the one point victory by the count of 34-33.

Then back in Tiger Stadium. Merkel taking on Lubbock Cooper and the Badgers get an interception to start the second half. A short time later they turn that into a long touchdown pass. But it would be the Pirates pulling out the 25-20 victory.

Wylie looking to move onto the state tournament in the semifinals against Slaton and the Bulldogs take control in the first half with a touchdown to take a 13 to nothing lead. Then just before the break - the Tigers trying to get something going but the Bulldogs shut them out. Wylie wwould win  the game 27-0.

Meanwhile on the other side of Tiger Stadium. Coleman taking on Levelland for a trip to state. The Bluecats already have the lead in the second half and they add to it with this touchdown. Levelland would respond a short time later with a score of their own, but just too much from the Bluecats this afternoon. They win it and are on their way to Round Rock with a 33-18 victory.

The Bulldogs and Bluecats would both qualify for the state tournament in Round Rock with those victories over Slaton and Levelland.
