Head coach Hugh Sandifer's team rolled over Brownwood at Bulldog Stadium, 38-16, to improve to 2-2 on the season.
One of the keys to the game was the Bulldogs running game.
Wylie rushed for 345 yards with Hayden Lewis leading the way with 125 yards and a touchdown.
"I just thought we controlled the line of scrimmage better, held our blocks, sustained our blocks. The backs ran hard, they blocked for eachother, and once they started having success I think that gave them confidence, so they could continue to do that," said head coach Hugh Sandifer.
"I think it had a lot to do with the linemen sustaining their blocks up front, and working outside to use our speed against their defense," said running back Hayden Lewis.
"We were able to spread it around and keep some fresh guys on the field. Put pressure on them by keeping the football, number one, and then putting results on the board," said Sandifer.
Wylie hits the road for their final non-district game of the year this week.
They are headed to Lubbock to play Estacado at the unusual start time of 4 at Lowery Field.
