KRBC PM Eastern Forecast: Friday, January 31, 2014
By Randy Turner
A cold front was stalled along and just south of Interstate 20 as of 8:30pm Friday night. The front will finally push south through the rest of the Big Country Saturday. Even colder air arrives Saturday night so temperatures by Sunday morning will be around 32. That is also the high for Sunday. An upper level disturbance from the southwest brings a 40 percent chance for snow, sleet and freezing rain over the eastern Big Country. Watch for possible icy roads Sunday and Sunday night. Moisture should be over by Monday morning but a few roads may still have icy patches as temperatures drop down into the 20's by Monday morning.
