After spending Thursday and Friday in the deep freeze, take advantage of warmer weather to soak in some sunshine this weekend.  Morning lows both Saturday and Sunday will be in the 30's, but afternoon highs on Saturday will be in the middle 60's with highs Sunday 70 or above.  The warmer weather, however, is only temporary.  Another strong cold front will move through the Big Country on Sunday night.  The front will drop temperatures by at least 30 degrees.  Highs on Monday are expected in the upper 30's with wind chills in the 20's all day.  Monday night the low drops to the upper teens followed again by 30's Tuesday, teens Tuesday night and highs in the low 40's by next Wednesday.  As of now, the forecast is still dry through the end of next week.  The city of Abilene has not officially had any measureable rainfall since Winter started back in December... well past a month since rain.
