What if we could quit talking about hot and dry weather, and started talking about cooler and wetter weather?  That's the case in my forecast this weekend.  Hot and dry weather Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  After that, the heat takes a back seat to a cold front Tuesday bringing in modified Canandian air...a little unusual to see a strong low and cold front like this in the middle of summer, but something that has certainly happened before.  Hot through Tuesday and then the front arrives Tuesday, keeping temperatures well below normal for this time of year Wednesday through Friday.  The chance for rain begins Tuesday but improves Wednesday and especially Thursday.  Storms are forecast to be slow movers, which is good for gathering rainfall in our lakes.  Temperatures in the 90's through Monday then dropping back into the 80's much of next week.
