The Big Country lies in between low pressure well to the west (that brought all the rain this week) and a low pressure area of southern Louisiana. The low in Louisiana will move more northward, than westward, but makes an effort each day this weekend to send some showers close to our eastern and southern counties. That's why we have a slim chance for rain. The main weather story is the fact that summer weather has returned. Temperatures 93 or 94 this weekend, 96 by Tuesday, 99 Wednesday, likely at 100 by the end of next week. No rain in the forecast Tuesday through next Friday.
