The heat and humidity can take a toll quickly.  We encourage you to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated, and try to limit outdoor activities to the morning hours, as we go through the next five to seven days.  Temperatures around 100, with humidity high, leads to a high heat index where the afternoons will feel more like 100 to 105.  Early next week, a possible cold front and cool down is being projected, with some showers too.... stay tuned for updates.
