We have lost the influence of the big upper level low which has moved into northwestern Mexico. Future influence on our weather could come from another upper low spinning in the northern Gulf of Mexico on Thursday evening. Though nothing to compare to the one we just had that brought all the rain, this upper low does show signs of bringing more rain to Texas. Here in the Big Country, I've included a slight chance for a few spotty showers each afternoon on Saturday and Sunday. Most of the weekend will be dry. Come Monday and Tuesday, the upper low is a little closer so as it moves moisture into our area, a few more showers should occur Monday and Tuesday. After that, our forecast is looking hot and dry into the middle of next week. Temperatures should be around 90 on Friday, 93 on Saturday and Sunday, 92 Monday, 93 Tuesday, 95 next Wednesday and Thursday.
