KRBC PM Forecast: Wednesday, January 29, 2014
By Randy Turner
Two days of warm weather followed by at least five days of below normal temperatures. The warm weather on Thursday and Friday will be accompanied by a high wildfire danger, especially Thursday, as low humidity combines with gusty southwest wind over 20 to 30 mph and higher. A cold front sweeps through the area by Saturday morning, highs on Saturday middle 50's. Colder air sinks in Sunday, highs low 40's. Past that, highs at least in the 40's, lows in the upper 20's, possibly colder. And we will have several chances at rain starting Sunday, continuing Monday, best chance Tuesday, and even a slight chance Wednesday. Bottom line, expect next week to be cold all week long. We will have to watch the Monday night into Tuesday time period for a potential of winter weather, possibly snow, IF the moisture is still here and combines with cold enough temperatures.
