Rumbles of thunder, rounds of rain, smiles on faces ... welcomed rain in the western Big Country Friday afternoon and night.  Snyder had over 3 and a half inches to lead the pack.  You can expect periods of rain through the weekend with our western counties being in the ideal spot for more beneficial rain.  Daily highs around 80.  It won't be raining constantly but when disturbances rotate through the area in the upper atmosphere, we should see a few hours worth of rain come and go.  Drive carefully and avoid flooded roads ... Turn Around, Don't Drown.
