KRBC PM Western Forecast: Monday, May 19, 2014
By Randy Turner
The main weather maker this week could be a good one for West Texas and West Central Texas. An upper level low, spinning off the coast of California Monday night, will take up position in the southwestern U.S. at the end of the week. The low will interact with the dryline to give a chance for storms as soon as Wednesday but more likely Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the western Big Country. Some forecast models hint at a few inches of rain in West Texas at the end of the week ... hopefully they are correct.
