KTAB AM Forecast: Wednesday December 6th, 2017

Wednesday Morning: A light wintry mix has  already started throughout the Big Country and will continue throughout the afternoon. It will be cold and winds will be light out of the Northwest at 5 mph. A heavy jacket will be needed when headed off to work or school this morning. 

Wednesday Afternoon: It won't warm up to much this afternoon with high's struggling to get to 40 degrees. A wintry mix will be likely to continue throughout the afternoon along with cold rain. The best chance for snow will be in our far Western counties. And cold rain will likely be in our Eastern and Northern spots. There is a potential accumulation of snow across the Northern Edwards Plateau this afternoon and tonight. 

Wednesday Evening: There will still be a 40% chance of a rain and snow mix throughout the Big Country, and a 20% chance for snow in the Heartland. Precipitation will likely calm after midnight. Winds will stay light out of the Northwest helping overnight lows to be a cold 30-32 degrees.
