KTAB AM Forecast: Wednesday, November 8th, 2017

Monday Afternoon: Scattered showers continue across the Big Country and the Heartland. Rainfall estimates for the Big Country are 0.5-1 inch of rain and for the Heartland 1-2 inches of rain is expected throughout Wednesday Evening. It will be cold and wet today with afternoon high's getting to 43-45 degrees and wind chills staying in the low 30's. 

Monday Evening: Showers will begin to taper off, with a chance for a lingering shower mainly in the Heartland. It will be a cold night with overnight lows getting to 32-34 degrees. A Freeze watch has been issued for Scurry and Mitchell Counties for tomorrow morning. 

Tuesday Morning: A heavy jacket will be needed with temperatures close to freezing across the Big Country with several areas having the tendency to be freezing. Otherwise skies will be sunny and winds will be light out of the Northwest at 5 mph.
