We have another possibility for showers and storms today, with the front a little bit farther south, just about all of us have a chance to pick up on the rain. The storms will be scattered and could bring heavy rain over a prolonged time. A lot of the storms are having a hard time moving, basically traveling at a snail’s pace. Highs today will be met around lunchtime, into the upper 80’s and low 90’s. We’ll be in the low to mid 80’s come late this afternoon. Rain ends early tonight with partly cloudy skies in the forecast for Independence Day. The holiday weekend will be warm and dry. Highs will be in the mid 90’s.
