KTAB Regional Forecast Western Big Country: AM August 28th, 2014
Good Thursday morning, we do have an opportunity for rainfall today as a line sets up somewhere between Lubbock and Abilene. The line will be almost stationary and hold together through the overnight hours. Areas north of I-20 will see the rain the longest. More scattered activity is possible this afternoon in the Heartland. Flooding will be the main issue with any storms that do develop. Highs today will be in the mid 90’s with a slight muggy feel. Rain chances continue on Friday with redevelopment possible in the afternoon. Saturday afternoon will be rather quiet, but still a little bit unsettled in the morning. Sunday and Labor Day will be warm and dry. Have a great day!
