KTAB Regional Forecast Western Big Country: AM Februray 28th, 2014
It will be plenty warm today with highs in the mid 80’s. Dry air combined with gusty winds will lead to high fire danger today. We do have Red Flag Warnings in place for just about all of us in the Big Country. Winds will be gusting up to 30 or 35 miles per hour through this afternoon. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 80’s, even a little humid in the Heartland. Cold front moves through late Saturday night sparking a round of showers and thunderstorms out ahead of it. Best chance of rain will be east of Abilene. Highs next week will be in the 40’s.
