KTAB Regional Forecast Western Big Country: AM March 21st, 2014
Cloud cover will be the trick to forecasting the right temperature today. Most of us will be in the mid 80’s this afternoon, all in advance of our next cold front. Winds will be up there gusting up to 25 miles per hour. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible this evening mainly north and east of Abilene. Some of those storms could produce large hail and gusty winds. Saturday will be cloudy and cooler. An isolated storm chance remains over the weekend, with the best chance for rain on Sunday. Highs on Sunday will be in the low 50’s. Tuesday and Wednesday of next week will be dry.
