KTAB Regional Forecast Western Big Country: AM May 12th, 2014
A cold front is moving through the Big Country and bringing cooler air and rain chances along with it. Rain chances today will favor the eastern Big Country, as well as the Heartland, some of the storms could turn severe with large hail and gusty winds. Rain amounts will be light west of Brownwood, but could be heavy at times in the Heartland. An inch or two is not out of the question. Rain chances on Tuesday will be ongoing but more scattered, again favoring the eastern half of the viewing area. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 60’s on Tuesday and in the 70’s on Wednesday. Dry air moves in for the later half of the workweek.
