KRBC PM Forecast: Tuesday, February 6, 2018

Temperatures as of late Tuesday night were well below freezing in Abilene (27 degrees at 8:00pm).  In the forecast Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning is the potential for light freezing drizzle which could cause patchy slick spots, mainly on bridges and overpasses Wednesday morning.  Only two counties are under advisories through midnight tonight for winter weather, those being Stephens (Breckenridge) and Eastland (Eastland, Cisco, Ranger, Rising Star, Gorman).

Expect a low tonight near 24.  Skies clear out north to south fairly early in the day Wednesday, allowing sunshine to warm temperatures to the middle to upper 40's.  North wind of 10 to 20 mph will keep a chill in the air all day with wind chills in the 30's most of the day.
