KTAB Morning Forecast: Wednesday, February 22, 2017

Wednesday: It's going to be chilly again early-on today. However, that chill won't last long at all! By lunchtime, temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s, and in the mid to upper 80s before all is said and done today. Skies will stay sunny all day long, with a southwest wind 5-10 MPH. It will be a touch more breezy in the far western Big Country, where sustained wind speeds will approach 15-20 MPH at times.

Wednesday Night: It will be very mild overnight & early tomorrow morning. Lows will fall to just the low to mid 50s under clear skies. Winds will be southerly, 5-10 MPH, getting closer to 15 MPH by daybreak Thursday.

Thursday: It will be windy & warm tomorrow, with highs in the upper 80s. An approaching cold front will send some thin, upper-level clouds our way, though sunshine will stay dominant. Southwest winds will be sustained at 10-20 MPH, but gusts will approach 25-30 MPH. There will be a risk for wildfire danger tomorrow, especially for the western Big Country, where wind speeds will be highest.
