*Record low was tied this morning for Abilene at 9 degrees, which was set back in 1927.

New Years Evening: Skies will be partly cloudy and it stay frigid. Winds will be light out of the East Northeast at 5 mph. Overnight lows will be 10-12 degrees and wind chills back into the single digits. Bundle up and use extra layers if you will be outside for a long period of time. 

Tuesday Morning: Frigid conditions along with mostly sunny skies to start the day. There will still be ice on the grounds, however road conditions are much better compared to the other day. Stay bundled up and keep the pets indoors. Winds will be light out of the East Southeast at 5 mph. 

Tuesday Afternoon: Skies will remain mostly sunny and high's will only get to 26-28 degrees, however it'll feel much warmer due to less cloud cover. A high pressure will build in from the North allowing for winds to stay light and skies to stay clear heading into the evening.
