Kathleen Barkley is an Evening Anchor for KRBC News.
She joins us from the morning news team on KTAB TV. Kathleen attended school at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Although a Louisiana native, she has claimed Sweetwater as her home for over a decade. Kathleen’s passion for journalism began at an early age. She always enjoyed reading newspapers and watching local news stations, so she decided to pursue a career in broadcasting. While at NSU, Kathleen served as news and sports anchor for NSUTV. She was also a staff writer for the Potpourri Yearbook.
She’s excited to continue her career in West Texas. When she’s not reporting, Kathleen loves to spend time with her daughter, bake, shop, watch sports, and travel. Her favorite part about her job is meeting many new people from all walks of life and being able to tell their stories to viewers.
