Lauren Ailles is a Texas girl, born in Webster. She has lived in Baytown, Texas for the majority of her life (Outskirts of Houston).
Lauren received her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she immediately found her passion for news.
Prior to college, she was heavily involved in volleyball year-round, but once she decided it was time to put her all into a career, she picked journalism and never looked back!
She joined UTA’S news program and shortly after, started interning at several spots in Dallas, including NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth and the Children’s Medical Hospital with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation.
Once she graduated, she immediately got to work as a reporter in Midland, Odessa. Lauren is now in the Key City.
“I’m beyond thankful for my new position here at KRBC. I love the challenge it presents and the new things I get to learn every day, but more importantly, the opportunity to be a voice for our community,” said Lauren. “I love people and will always strive to give back as much as I can! “
Favorite Food: Literally EVERYTHING. At the moment, probably seafood.
Favorite Vacation Destination: Germany so far.
Hobbies: Traveling, volleyball, modeling, makeup, spending money I don’t have on Amazon Prime, learning how to play the ukulele, trying new things, spending time with family and friends.
Fun Fact: I have a fraternal twin named Alana. She’s a psychiatric nurse in Spring, Texas. She’s my best friend, and I love her to death!
