Monica Diaz-Meek

Monica Diaz-Meek is a Tampa, Florida native, but Texas raised. She graduated from Lone Star High School in Frisco, Texas and attended college at Kansas State University. After graduating with a journalism degree and minor in Spanish, Monica joined the KRBC team as the weekend anchor in May  of 2020. Shortly after joining the team, Monica became the KRBC morning anchor for Abilene Today and Abilene Midday. Monica married her college sweetheart in 2020 and they are expecting their son in July of 2021. When not on-air, Monica enjoys spending time with her family, hanging out with her little from Big Brothers Big Sisters, traveling and getting involved throughout the community.
